DubLi Update From John Cini: Improved US Support Office & How To Propose Shopping Mall Merchants

I have more good news on two fronts:

1.  Support for DubLi.com is now coming from the US Office.  I know this because I submitted Support tickets the last couple days that were answered almost immediately (in an hour and 15 minutes), during normal afternoon business hours (which would have been nighttime in Europe).  Also, I received complete, logical answers which resolved my issue.  Needless to say, I was elated.  DubLiNetwork Support is still being handled by the Europe office, unfortunately.  I know this for the same reasons, since I submitted a ticket two days ago that took a full 24 hours to get a response, and the response was basically, “We’ll find out the answer and get back to you,” which has been the standard, unhelpful, slow “support” system from Europe.  When DubLiNetwork support is as fast and reliable as the DubLi.com support is, we’ll all be celebrating.  Be patient – it’ll happen.

[What's the difference between support for DubLi.com and DubLiNetwork?  It's the button you select first when you click "Submit a Ticket" - it says "Select Department" and you either choose DubLi.com or DubLiNetwork.  At this point, anything that you think DubLi.com can answer, I'd direct there.]

2.  We now have the official scoop on how to propose a merchant be listed in the DubLi Shopping Mall (not the auction side, just the shopping side) – it’s all explained in the email below.  Don’t think that because you recommend a merchant they’re going to get listed.  DubLi is not going to allow everything and anything to populate the shopping mall.  I deleted Stefanie’s full email so she doesn’t get blasted by a ton of reps.  If you need to contact her, just contact me for her info.

Hi John,
To become a DubLi shopping mall merchant, the merchant would need to join one of the affiliate networks that we link to for tracking and reporting.  Because of the complex nature of the rewards mall platform, we require very specific tracking, reporting, and point allocation specifications.  The affiliate networks handle this on our behalf as most merchants do not have this capability on their own.  Below is the list of affiliate networks with whom we are connected:

We have several key criteria we consider when determining if we are going to add a new merchant to the program, notwithstanding the fact that the merchant has to provide the commission as a percentage of sales.  Once a merchant is a member of the one of the affiliates, please have them submit a ticket with the name of the merchant and the affiliate program and then we will go in to our interface and take a look at their program.
Thank you,
Stefanie

DubLi Corp.: DubLi Launches in Australia

If you’re wondering how to access the AU/NZ shopping portal, it’s not a secret:  this is the direct link, but you can also go to www.DubLi.com, click on the “Shopping” Tab at the top, then click the AU flag at the top-right (to the right of the USA and Canada flags).  I’m sure there will soon be an AU flag on the front of the DubLi.com site.  The number of merchants in the AU store is impressive – see it for yourself by clicking the AU flag and looking at the specific “Shopping Categories” on the left.  Another question I’ve received:  when will AU/NZ have its own auction site?  (Right now AU/NZ can use the North American site, which isn’t the best way.)  The answer is in a couple more months, when the DubLi global auction launches.

Red highlights below are provided by John Cini.

DubLi Launches in Australia

Australian customers of DubLi were thrilled yesterday (March 8th), because of the launch of the Australian Shopping Mall!  With 450 premium shops in 19 different categories, customers will be able to buy pretty much everything under the sun with a simple click.  But there’s more – DubLi has added extra value to the shopping experience with a cash back program.  Depending on the individual store, you can get up to 20% cash back on each purchase!  All you need to do is check the merchant’s reward point percentage – for example, one reward point equals AUD 1.

With more stores on the way in the near future, you can be sure that DubLi’s shopping mall will be the talk of the [AU] nation, offering the best prices, the best quality, and the most fun.

Stay tuned to the blog, because 2010 is the year that DubLi will be putting together the components of the individual worldwide sites to create what is already being described as the world’s first truly global shopping platform.  We have a lot of news to share with you, and we know that you’ll find it just as exciting as we do!

Technologizer: “How Long Do You Give the Desktop?”

This story is the third piece in a trio – to get the impact, read the third story below (or go to the home page and then scroll down 2 stories):
  1. Online shopping is growing dramatically;
  2. Online advertising will surpass print advertising this year for the first time ever;
  3. Desktop computers will soon be surpassed by smartphones for computing, convenience, and online access.
No red highlights here – I think you should read this whole thing.  Visit the Technologizer site for many more great tech takes, including yesterday’s story on the “The Secret Origin of Windows” which describes how Microsoft’s product manager was told that shipping the new Windows software “was a path toward a ruined career.”

How Long Do You Give the Desktop?

By Harry McCracken  |  Posted at 10:38 am on Thursday, March 4, 2010
One of the big subjects of debate on the Interwebs this morning is a big, existential technological question: Are phones on the cusp of replacing PCs?

Don Dodge (presently of Google, formerly of Microsoft) thinks so:

The future of computing is that your cell phone will become your primary computer, communicator, camera, and entertainment device, all in one. The exciting new applications are running in the browser, with application code and data in the cloud, and the cell phone as a major platform.  I think in the near future there will be docking stations everywhere with a screen and a keyboard. You simply pull out your phone, plug it into the docking station, and instantly all your applications and data are available to you.

So does Google Europe sales chief John Herlihy, as quoted by a Silicon Republic story:

“In three years time, desktops will be irrelevant. In Japan, most research is done today on smart phones, not PCs,” Herlihy told a baffled audience, echoing comments by Google CEO Eric Schmidt at the recent GSM Association Mobile World Congress 2010 that everything the company will do going forward will be via a mobile lens, centring on the cloud, computing and connectivity.

BetaNews’s Joe Wilcox basically agrees with Herlihy:

Three years — most certainly five — is not an unrealistic time horizon at all. Even if it proves wrong, Google is acting like change will come rapidly. Last month, Google CEO Eric Schmidt asserted the company would put mobile first — yes, before the PC. There is no Windows monopoly on mobile handsets to stop Google, Apple or any other would-be mobile competitor from rapidly advancing. Cloud services, whether delivered by applications or browsers, promise anytime and anywhere access to anything.

On Twitter, meanwhile, folks like Microsoft PR head Frank Shaw, Gizmodo editor Brian Lam, and analysts Michael Gartenberg and Ian Fogg chimed in:

@fxshaw

I am sure that Don wrote this post on his android phone.

@blam

just going to say, for non geeks, the phone is more accessible than the computer.

@gartenberg

The phone *is* important but it will not become MY primary computer, communicator, camera, and entertainment device. Nor yours either.

@ianfogg42

If primary = most time spent, then I think the iPhone is already my primary computer.

A few thoughts about this enormous topic, in no particular order:
  • Phones already are PCs–they just happen to be really small ones that don’t run exactly the same operating systems as their bigger brethren.
  • The vast majority of interesting applications are already highly mobile, networked creations. When was the last time that a brand-new piece of PC (or Mac) software was a huge deal? True, not all interesting apps are available in great smartphone versions yet. But they will be.
  • Old devices usually give way to new ones over time. But they usually don’t utterly vanish. And predictions about timetables are almost always wrong–they’re often either far too quick or far too slow.
  • A device can be both pervasive and–in terms of innovation and mindshare–kind of irrelevant. The FM radio is already there. Thinking of desktop PCs (ie, non-notebooks) as FM radios isn’t crazy.
  • I don’t see the need for large screens and full-sized QWERTY going away, ever. But there’s no reason why they must be connected to a dedicated, full-blown computing device in every situation. Like Don Dodge, I’ve long thought that we’ll end up with screens and keyboards that can talk to our phones. (I don’t think it’ll be done via docking stations, though–it’ll all be wireless so our phones can stay in our pockets.)
  • We don’t need to look into the future to see an era in which many people find phones as valuable in their own way as traditional PCs–it’s here today, and really got underway with the introduction of the BlackBerry more than a decade ago.
  • If virtually all of your data and much of your applications end up living on the cloud, the idea of a death match between PCs and phones starts to sound silly. You’ll use both–as well as great big screens like TVs–and they’ll all be portals to your real computer, which is…the Internet.

Outsell: U.S. Advertisers To Spend More On Digital Than Print

Add this to the ecommerce article below, and it’s an overwhelming vision.  The shift of advertisers to directing “dollars toward the channels which generate the most qualified leads and most effective branding” leads exactly to DubLi’s long-term strategy of getting a huge community of shoppers to rely on DubLi for information, bargains, and overall ecommerce.  DubLi Founder Michael Hansen’s vision of interactive, targeted ads sent to cellphones, with credited rewards for viewing the ads, comes to mind here.  (Watch him describe this vision in this 70-min. video.)

This is no small undertaking:  the effort is gargantuan in scope and could be Amazon-like in the future.  Wise business people and investors will bide their time, just as Amazon’s investors had to wait nearly an entire decade just to see a profit occur.

Mar 8 01:44 PM US/Eastern

US companies will spend more this year on digital and online advertising and marketing than on print for the first time ever, according to a study released on Monday.

Companies will spend 119.6 billion dollars on online and digital strategies and 111.5 billion dollars on newspaper and magazine advertisements and other print campaigns, according to the study by California-based Outsell.

Outsell, which provides research and advisory services to the publishing and information industries, described the spending shift as “an industry milestone crossover event.”

It said overall US spending on advertising and marketing will increase by 1.2 percent in 2010 to 368 billion dollars.

Outsell said 63 billion dollars, or 52.8 percent of total online advertising spending by companies, would be on their own websites, which it said constitutes a “powerful form of direct to customer marketing.”

Advertisers are directing dollars toward the channels which generate the most qualified leads and most effective branding,” Outsell vice president and lead analyst Chuck Richard said.

“As they emerge from the recession, they need more accountability, and they’re spreading their spending over a widening set of options,” he said.

By category, Outsell said spending on print newspaper advertising was expected to drop 8.2 percent to 27 billion dollars while print magazine advertising will rise 1.9 percent this year to 9.4 billion dollars.

US newspapers and magazines have been facing declining print advertising revenue, falling circulation and the migration of readers to free news online.

Outsell said that spending on direct mail marketing campaigns would rise 2.7 percent to 24.4 billion dollars and spending on custom print publications would be 3.0 percent higher at 19.3 billion dollars.
Spending on print directories would fall 8.3 percent to 11.6 billion dollars while spending on print newsletters would be flat at 11.4 billion dollars.

“2010 will not suddenly erase the painful memory of crumbling ad spending in 2009, but it will provide much closer to a flat year for several of the traditional media types,” Outsell said.

“This means that publishers with significant shares of traditional media in the mix and who pounded their expenses and debt into shape sufficient to survive the brutal 2009 should be able to carry on at those levels in 2010.”

Spending on television advertising was forecast to drop 6.5 percent to 59.6 billion dollars.

Outsell surveyed more than 1,000 US advertisers in December 2009 for its annual “Marketing and Advertising Study 2010.”

Forrester Research: U.S. Web Retail Sales To Reach $249 Billion By 2014

The shift from stores to internet is happening right before us.  I don’t think this study factors in the two dramatic expectations:

1. The tipping point is coming when it’s common knowledge that online shopping is cheaper and more convenient (you’d think everyone would know this by now, but “8 percent of total U.S. retail sales within five years” means 9 out of 10 dollars are still spent in stores) – the word will soon spread and dramatic exponential growth will occur.  Remember not too long ago when such a large percentage of people voiced concerns over the safety of online shopping?  I rarely hear those kinds of comments any more.
2. The move from inconvenient, immobile desktops to “shop/transact anywhere” smart phones will accelerate this process.

This will be fun to watch …  Red highlights belong to my upline "Antipaper".

Mon Mar 8, 1:13 pm ET

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) – Online retail sales in the United States could reach $248.7 billion by 2014, growing 60 percent from 2009, according to a study released on Monday.

Driven by a 10 percent compound annual growth rate, the projected $248.7 billion is expected to account for 8 percent of total U.S. retail sales within five years, according to Forrester Research, which authored the study.

Online sales, which slowed in the downturn, have still managed to outpace sales at U.S. brick-and-mortar stores. The National Retail Federation expects 2.5 percent growth in total retail sales in 2010, well below the 11 percent online growth rate that Forrester projects — the same as in 2009.

With more consumers comfortable with shopping online and retailers investing more in their online operations, the online sector has been steadily growing, driven by robust growth at Amazon.com Inc, the industry leader.

Amazon.com posted 42 percent sales growth in its most recent fourth quarter.
Forrester expects consumer electronics and apparel, accessories and footwear to lead the growth, while sales of computer hardware and software will slow.

Still, the bulk of total computer product sales is made online. About 52 percent of computer product sales was made online in 2009, compared with 9 percent for apparel and 14 percent for electronics.
Forrester’s online sales numbers do not include sales from vehicles, travel or prescription drugs.

In Western Europe, online retail sales are projected to increase by 68 percent from 68 billion euros in 2009 to 114 billion euros by 2014.

“The pan-European marketplace is still in a stage of healthy late new-market growth,” wrote Forrester.

The Australian Shopping Mall is Here!

Are you having DubLi Fun Shopping yet? Well Fun Shopping is about to explode!
We already know how much you like to shop the DubLi auctions, now we are launching one more – DubLi Auctions PLUS Cash Back Value Reward Shopping at over 450 online stores.

DubLi is thrilled to announce the launch of the DubLi Australian Rewards Mall on March 8, 2010. What could be better than that, getting great values on the auctions and now being paid when you do your everyday shopping as well! Exclusive for Australian’s, the DubLi Rewards Mall allows Business Associates and customers to shop at over 450 online stores and earn up to 20% in cash value rewards.

The Australian Rewards Mall includes only Australian-based merchants and customers pay for purchases in Australian dollars only. Whether you fancy Apple AU or Expedia Australia, the DubLi Australian Rewards Mall has something for everyone. Now if that’s not fun shopping for Australian’s, what is? The Australian Rewards Mall pays you to shop at the same stores you are shopping at everyday anyway. With 19 shopping categories to choose from, you can do all your shopping with DubLi and get rewarded.

How does it work, you ask? It’s simple and fun! Once you login to the DubLi Australian Rewards Mall you may select a merchant by name or by browsing through the shopping categories. Each merchant will have a percentage listed beside it; this is the rewards percentage (1 rewards point = 1 AUD) you will receive back following any purchase you make from that merchant. For example, if you wanted to buy a pair of $100 boots from Ugg Zone, who pay 5% in rewards, you will receive $5.00 in rewards…it’s that simple.

Just click on as many merchants as you wish and do your shopping. Within one week you will see the transaction history and points earned back on your personal Mall shopping page. After 45 days (all the stores require this waiting period) your points become available for you to spend. Points=Cash will be loaded on a personal Debit Card. You can see how quickly your cash value reward points accumulate when you are shopping at 450+ stores.

And, as if that weren’t enough, here is some more fun news…DubLi also pays you a commission on top of the rewards you earn from shopping. If you are a GOLD A Business Associates you are also entitled to earn the same 15% extra bonus that is currently available on the US and Canadian Rewards Malls. (Please review the rules under Promotions in your Back Office.)

The Australian Rewards Mall is also a great recruiting tool. Not only can your new Associates, Partners and customers participate in the auctions, but they can also shop at some of Australia’s most recognized brand name merchants from the comfort of an easy chair in front of their computer. It’s double the fun. When you shop at brick and mortar store, you spend gas and all they give you in return for your purchase is a receipt. Because the Australian Rewards Mall is an online mall, you can shop wherever and whenever from the comfort of your home. With the DubLi Australian Rewards Mall you save gas and get cash value reward points and commissions- a winner all around!

By the way, SHH, don’t tell anyone, but there are hundreds of additional stores on the way.

DubLi Updates

UPDATES
- Customer Stampede – The long-awaited customer acquisition program launches this week.  That should be announced in a newsletter from Corp. any day now.  This is a game-changer, especially when combined with Cinch.

- Did you say Cinch? – Speaking of which, it’s available now at no cost, for those of you who are new, at https://dubli-connect.com.  It will eventually be downloadable from the DubLi.com site.  We’re probably a couple months away – the company is doing a major upgrade for it before posting it.

- Support - The even longer-awaited N.A. Support Office is scheduled to open this month.

- AU/NZ Shopping Portal Launch – Did you see this announcement in the back office yesterday?  “We are happy to tell you that we will announce the opening of the Australian shopping Mall in a soon upcoming newsletter.  The Mall will be ready within days – we are just finishing last tests.”

- Global Launch – May seems to be the target now, which is good for those of us still squeaking out some pre-launch market share in Asia.

- Shopping Search Engine (SSE) – Yes, DubLi hasn’t forgotten how much we love the SSE aspect of the shopping portal.  We will soon have the full functionality of a true SSE in our mall.

Admin Updates – I was given these assurances (and you know my disclaimer – I’m not in charge of the dates being met, and I don’t have any other details):
– We are now officially using the N.A. payment platform. So anyone paying in Canada, US, or Mexico should not get any “currency conversion fee” – if you do, please let me know.
- Also, because of the N.A. location, cards should not be declined because of an “international transaction” or fraud block.

Riggio's Harley
Peter Riggio loving his Harley

- Double-billing has been physically eliminated from the enrollment process, so that should be error free.

WashTimes: “Survey: 26% of U.S. gets news via phone”

These stories are flowing nonstop now. DubLi’s timing to get huge market share in ecommerce via handheld is looking great.

Survey: 26% of U.S. gets news via phone
By ASSOCIATED PRESS

Get ready ...

It's coming ...

NEW YORK (AP) — Just over a quarter of American adults now read news on their cell phones, according to a new report from the Pew Research Center.

The survey results being released by the group Monday offer another sign of how people are changing they way they get information. Technology has been reshaping the news business and the way consumers relate to it for more than a decade. The latest shift is being driven by the exploding popularity of phones that can easily access the Internet.

The new study found that 26 percent of Americans get news on their phones. Pew doesn’t have comparable data for say, two or three years ago. But evidence of the shift in habits can be seen in this finding: Younger cell phone owners are more likely to look for news on their phones. About 43 percent of those under 50 said they are mobile news consumers, compared with 15 percent of older respondents.

Still, some things don’t change. Readers’ No. 1 concern when they look for news on their phones: the weather. Of the 37 percent of cell phone owners who said they use the Internet on their phone, 72 percent said they check weather reports. Current events came in second with 68 percent.

Pew’s survey offered a wide range of statistics on people’s news habits. It showed people are not relying on one medium. Just shy of 60 percent of respondents get news from both online and offline sources. And 46 percent said they use four to six different types of media on a typical day.

The Web is also helping to turn the news into more of a social experience: More than 80 percent of respondents get or receive news via e-mailed links.

The results were based on telephone interviews with 2,259 people over the age of 18, conducted between Dec. 28 and Jan. 19. For questions to that entire group, the margin of error was 2.3 percentage points. On questions to just Internet users, the margin was 2.7 percentage points.

The Race

The Race
I
"Quit!  Give up!  You're beaten!"
They shout out and plead.
"There's just too much against you now.
This time you can't succeed!"

And as I start to hang my head
In front of failure's face,
My downward fall is broken by
The memory of the race.

And hope refills my weakened will
As I recall the scene;
For just the thought of that short race
Rejuvenates my being.

II
A children's race--young boys, young men;
How I remember well.
Excitement, sure, but also fear;
It wasn't hard to tell.

They all lined up so full of hope:
Each thought to win the race.
Or tie for first, or if not that,
At least take second place.

And fathers watched from off the side,
Each cheering for his son.
And each boy hoped to show his dad
That he would be the one.

The whistle blew and off they went!
Young hearts, and hopes afire.
To win, to be the hero there
Was each young boy's desire.

And one boy in particular
Whose dad was in the crowd,
Was running near the lead and thought,
"My dad will be so proud."

But as he speeded down the field
Across a shallow dip,
The little boy who thought to win,
Lost his step and slipped.

Trying hard to catch himself
His hands flew out to brace,
And mid the laughter of the crowd
He fell flat on his face.

So down he fell and with him hope
He couldn't win it now--
Embarrassed, sad, he only wished
To disappear somehow.

But as he fell his dad stood up
And showed his anxious face,
Which to the boy so clearly said:
"Get up and win the race!"

He quickly rose, no damage done
Behind a bit, that's all--
And ran with all his mind and might
To make up for his fall.

So anxious to restore himself
To catch up and to win
His mind went faster than his legs:
He slipped and fell again!

He wished that he had quit before
With only one disgrace.
"I'm hopeless as a runner now;
I shouldn't try to race."

But in the laughing crowd he searched
And found his father's face.
That steady look which said again:
"Get up and win the race!"

So he jumped up to try again.
Ten yards behind the last--
"If I'm to gain those yards," he thought,
"I've got to move real fast."

Exerting everything he had,
He gained eight or ten,
But trying so hard to catch the lead
He slipped and fell again!

Defeat!  He lay there silently
A tear dropped from his eye--
"There's no sense running anymore:
Three strikes I'm out, why try?"

The will to rise had disappeared
All hopes had fled away;
So far behind, so error-prone:
A loser all the way.

"I've lost, so what's the use," he thought.
"I'll live with my disgrace."
But then he thought about his dad
Who soon he'd have to face.

"Get up," an echo sounded low.
Get up and take your place.
You were not meant for failure here.
Get up and win the race."

With borrowed will, "Get up," it said,
"You haven't lost at all,
For winning is no more than this:
To rise each time you fall."

So up he rose to win once more,
And with a new commit
He resolved that win or lose,
At least he wouldn't quit.

So far behind the others now.
The most he'd ever been--
Still he gave it all he had
And ran as though to win.

Three times he'd fallen stumbling:
Three times he rose again.
Too far behind to hope to win
He still ran to the end.

They cheered the winning runner
As he crossed, first place,
Head high and proud and happy;
No falling, no disgrace.

But when the fallen youngster
Crossed the line, last place,
The crowd gave him the greater cheer
For finishing the race.

And even though he came in last
With head bowed low, un-proud,
You would have thought he won the
Race to listen to the crowd.

And to his dad he sadly said,
"I didn't do so well."
"To me you won," his father said.
"You rose each time you fell."

III
And when things seem dark and hard
And difficult to face,
The memory of that little boy
Helps me in my own race.

For all of life is like that race.
With ups and downs and all.
And all I have to do to win
Is rise each time I fall.

"Quit!"  "Give up, you're beaten!"
They still shout in my face.
But another voice within me says:
"GET UP AND WIN THE RACE!"

MediaNet Group Technologies Announces Financial Results for Fiscal Year 2010 First Quarter
Revenues Rise More Than 175% to $8.1 Million; Net Income Reaches $765,516

    Press Release

    Source:  MediaNet Group Technologies, Inc.
On Monday February 22, 2010, 5:17 pm EST

BOCA RATON, FL–(Marketwire – 02/22/10) – MediaNet Group Technologies, Inc. (OTC.BB:MEDGNews), a worldwide online trading firm, today announced financial results for the 2010 fiscal year first quarter period ending December 31, 2009.

For the first quarter ended December 31, 2009, the Company reported revenue of $8.1 million, and net income of $765,516. This compares to revenue in the first quarter of fiscal 2009 of $2.9 million and a net loss of $510,058 and revenues of $14.5 million for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2009. The increase in revenue was due primarily to sales of products and through our expanded base of new Business Associates particularly in the United States and Australia/New Zealand markets.

Gross profit for the first quarter of fiscal year 2010 reached $3.1 million versus gross profit of $985,918 for the first quarter of fiscal year 2009, a 212% increase. Gross profit margin increased to 38% from 34% in the 2010 first quarter from the 2009 first quarter as a result of the decrease of direct cost of revenue due to the increase in revenue and more efficient purchasing practices. At December 31, 2009, the Company had net cash of $3.9 million with no long term debt.

Michael Hansen, President and Chief Executive Officer of MediaNet Group Technologies said, “Our first quarter financial results are a strong reflection of our ability to execute our business plan on a global scale. Revenues in the first quarter increased more than 175% on a year over year basis due to the growth and acceptance of the reverse auction model coupled with our own growing customer loyalty as well as the quality of our products and service. As we move further into 2010, we intend to focus on the unique capabilities offered by our Cinch and Connect technologies, maximizing the ability for greater tracking and, thus, specific targeting for our products and services and BSP powered shopping malls.”

Mr. Hansen continued, “We believe we are well positioned to take advantage of the world economies. Our distinctive platform provides us flexibility and adaptability to meet respective market demands quickly and offer our customers continued value by offering the products and services they require.”

    About MediaNet Group Technologies, Inc.:

MediaNet Group Technologies is a publicly held Company (OTC.BB:MEDGNews). The main emphasis of the company operations rests in our DubLi.com, Dubli Network and BSP Rewards divisions.

DubLi is a worldwide online auction portal. It is composed of two very unique and individual business models; DubLi.com — a reverse auction portal for high level branded merchandise offered at highly competitive prices and DubLi Network — the business opportunity where individuals around the world can establish their own business in a competitive market. The success behind DubLi.com’s ‘reverse auction’ lies in the formula of being able to drive down prices incrementally with bids placed by consumers. It is a value based proposition where a consumer will buy when the price reaches a point of interest to the buyer.

BSP Rewards is an extremely affordable Private Branded “customer relationship marketing program” and “communications solution” that utilizes our proprietary loyalty and internet rewards mall platform and applications. The BSP Rewards Mall licenses our proprietary rewards online mall platform, and builds “merchant funded” private branded programs both for profit and non-profit organizations.

    Passive…Residual Income

    Passive…Residual Income

Residual income by definition is income earned from a previous effort that continues to pay dividends month after month…year after year for a lifetime.

Below are some examples of industries and individuals who continue to earn passive residual income as a result of a one time effort.

Recording Artists: The Beatles, ABBA, U2, Pink Floyd, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Prince, Madonna, Guns N’ Roses, Van Halen, Elton John, Dire Straits, Johnny Cash, ELVIS, The Bee Gees, Garth Brooks, Diana Ross and 100’s of other artists and songwriters. Consider the fact that when a CD is purchased, a song is played on the radio, in a movie or downloaded as a ring tone or to an Mp3 player, the singer/songwriter’s continue earning royalties or passive residual income. ABBA for example consistently sells over 3 million CD’s annually to a completely new generation of fans, and they broke up as a band back in 1982.

Movies, DVD's, Merchandising and TV Shows: Seinfeld, Cheers, Friends, Survivor, MASH, Bewitched, Wheel of Fortune. These TV shows are now in syndication which generates an ongoing passive residual income for the actors, writers, and producers affiliated with these shows when they were previously on prime time television. How long do you think a show like "Seinfeld" will continue to air on TV?

Think of all the movies available for purchase after it has run its course in the theaters, in fact many movies on DVD out perform ticket sales in the theaters. George Lucas literally turned the entire movie industry upside down when he had the foresight to have written in his contract to include exclusive merchandising rights and a percentage of the films gross in exchange for a lower director's salary with 20th Century Fox for his yet to be released sci-fi movie, STAR WARS. The movie execs at the time thought they were taking advantage of poor George because sci-fi movies had been notoriously low grossing films. We all know STAR WARS went on to become one of the highest grossing films of all time and made George a billionaire. The movie executives never made that mistake again; as it ending up costing the studio 100's of millions of dollars in lost revenues.

Other Categories: Insurance Agents, Inventors, Real Estate Investors, Authors, Poets, Actors, Broadway Show Producers, Photographers, Software Designers, Computer Game Developers and distributors in Network Marketing to name a few.

Imagine being able to write a hit song or a best seller or to create a unique invention or to own several income producing properties; then collecting royalties from these efforts month after month, year after year whether you worked again or not. Imagine the comforts and lifestyle of being completely financially free.

As wonderful as it may seem to be famous, the truth is less than 1% of the population has the talent required to achieve celebrity status.

As for the remaining 99% of the population, including professional athletes, all trade time for money. Very few individuals can ever become rich trading time for money because there just aren't enough hours in a day to accomplish the objective. Every one has the same 24 hours to work with, so it's the options available to the individual within that 24 hour time frame that can transform a person's current financial picture.

Unless you come from a wealthy family or happen to hit the jackpot by winning the lottery, there is only one way that a person can start right where they are; armed with nothing more than some applied consistent effort, and can begin generating immediate profits. That is through the concept of leverage marketing.

    What is leveraged marketing?
Very simply it is the ability to leverage ones time, effort, and resources in order to create a channel of distribution for products or services through a collective effort.

By harnessing the power of exponential growth through duplication and multiplication of effort, one is able to effectively produce a significant base of consumers in a relatively short period of time through the collective efforts of the organization. The customer base, which encompasses the representatives themselves, is regularly consuming the products or services manufactured by the parent company. This volume in turn generates overrides and commissions; which equates into passive residual income for the representative.

So how do you earn passive residual income in DubLi?
Our business model is unique in many ways from the more traditionally known brick and mortar product driven companies in our industry. We in essence do not manufacture any product; instead our product is an online reverse style auction through which we're able to offer name brand products and services. We're more like a service company than a tangible product company. The advantage we have over a traditional brick and mortar company is that we can deliver our product, the DubLi.com auction portal, instantly in multiple languages on a global scale. No waiting for days or weeks for a product to arrive in the mail. Also our business model makes it possible for us to respond quickly to our customer's needs and future products and buying trends. The sky is the limit as far as shopping is concerned at DubLi.

In simple terms what DubLi pioneered is a radical invention known as a "reverse auction". It is simply an auction portal on the internet through which customers can purchase name brand products and merchandise from the best known manufacturers in the world. What's ingenious about the concept is that the more people bid on a particular item using "Credits", the lower the price becomes. This creates a fun and frenzied atmosphere where people are almost competing with each other over who can get the best deal.

The merchandise that we stock comes from a literal who's who in the manufacturing business; companies like BMW, SONY, Panasonic, Apple, Hewlett Packard, Calloway, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry, COACH, DeLonghi, Braun, Cuisinart, Wal-Mart, Target, Xbox, PlayStation, Nokia, Motorola, LG, Samsung, Toshiba, and LEGO just to mention a few. These companies are for the most part all household names and are embedded in our social consciousness. It is not necessary to convince or educate anyone about doing business with any of these companies or the products that they manufacture. In fact, how many of you have bought from one or more of these companies in the past? Often your friends are already looking for or are interested in purchasing some of these name brand products. You are just directing them to where they can purchase exactly what they are looking for a good price.

How much do you need to know from DubLi about SONY? Hewlett Packard? Nokia? Apple? Samsung?--absolutely nothing: because their traditional marketing campaigns do all the selling for us. Every single product you see in our auctions is already in stock at our warehouses, so there's never a back order.

It costs nothing for a customer to register at DubLi.com and there's never an obligation to make a purchase. Below is an illustration depicting an ideal combination of business associates and customers in a collective community and the potential commissions that could be earned. The organizational model is intended solely for illustrations purposes only and implies no guarantees.

    The organizational model

In this scenario, the Business Associate (BA) at the top has registered 75 customers and has enrolled 3 BA's who have each registered 75 customers. These initial 3 BA's have duplicated what the BA at the top has done by recruiting 3 BA's each who have each registered 75 customers.

The average customer spends approximately $25/€20 per month on DubLi Credits.
    75 Customers x $25/€20 = $1,875/€ 1,500 x 25% = $469/€375 per mo

    12 BAs x 75 Customers = 900 Customers x $25/€20 X 5% = $1,125/€900 per mo

    Total                                                                  = $1,594/€1,275 per mo

In this illustration there are only 12 business associates in the entire organization, however each has a customer base of 75 which is just slightly above our average of 72 per associate. This potentially provides a passive residual income of $1,594/€1,275 per month. In comparison, the average earnings per associate is typically around $9/€8 per month. If that were the case the earnings in this illustration would drop from $1,594/€1,275 to $108/€96. DubLi Network's business model was designed to reward the business associate handsomely for acquiring a solid base of customers; which is in complete contrast to the majority of companies whose compensation model focuses primarily on the recruitment of representatives. It's easy to build a team that will grow into the 100's because of the ease of acquiring customers; which automatically attracts business builders.

You're in for a pleasant surprise when you see how fast it spreads to others outside your center of influence; especially when one or more of your customers gets a red hot deal on something they really wanted. Almost immediately they're telling all their friends about their experience with DubLi.com and how much money they saved on that new 40" flat screen TV over coffee at Starbucks. Before you know it, you've got a flood of new visitors coming to your website. All are registering just because one or two customers had a positive experience. Now you're the sole beneficiary of perhaps 50 new customers or more. DubLi Network is fast emerging as the ultimate viral marketing machine.
It is a very simple system and it is easy to duplicate.  It's fast, effective and that's why our customer to associate ratio is amongst the highest in the industry; a staggering 72:1 ratio. Sometimes it takes getting out of your comfort zone.  The more the DubLi.com story is shared, the faster your business will grow; both in customers and in associates.
Once someone becomes a customer, the company quickly goes into action. Dubli collects the money for the "Credits", ships any merchandise that's purchased, and continues to follow-up with your customers on a regular basis through email and informative newsletters. The best part is that our business associates are amply rewarded with generous referral commissions every time their customers purchase "Credits" month in and month out.

The Key Component to Accelerated Growth is Duplication.

DubLi Network's overall business model is extremely simple and easy to comprehend. Because of this, the business associate is comfortable sharing the concept with their peers; which accelerates duplication. At DubLi.com a brand new representative can expose a new client to the business model and within minutes after that initial exposure, have the client be able to confidently and accurately explain it to one of their peers. This is a huge advantage for DubLi in the marketplace.
If an individual is willing to put in the necessary time and focused effort into building a base of customer's and associates and then teach their associates to do the same, the duplication process will start. In a very short period of time the effort you put into the business will begin to multiply exponentially and it can become substantial.
Here's a formula that holds true to this day; 'The Three Stages of Growth'. In stage 1 of the business, the individual is underpaid for their efforts because they are just starting the business. The individual is putting in the required effort by consistently generating new customers and recruiting new business associates, but they're not yet seeing the fruits of their labor. In stage 2 of the business, the individual is breaking even with the profits earned from the business. There is an undercurrent of momentum taking place in the organization as the business associates you previously recruited are starting to generate new customers and recruit new associates. Next is stage 3, and this is the best stage of all. The organization is beginning to mature with new customers and associates joining in mass every day, and now you are being seriously overpaid for your efforts. Congratulations!
Imagine being able to earn as much money in a month as it used to take in a year to earn. Many individuals in this industry, who started out by investing less than $500.00 in their business and had no formal education or previous business experience, have become multi-millionaires in leveraged marketing.
When you join a company who markets their products or services through a network of independent affiliates, the company itself is creating leverage by wholesaling its products or services to potentially 1000's of people with little or no marketing experience. The affiliates become the company's customers because most of them will consume the products or services being sold. In our industry this is commonly referred to as an internal consumption company. The affiliate has certain privileges when joining like the option of building a customer base and or affiliate base in order to generate a larger sales volume than what could be created by individual effort alone. As an example, would you rather earn 100% from your own efforts or earn 1% from the efforts of a 100 people? The latter can make you rich, while your own efforts will make you a living.

Creating Leverage is the Key to Wealth.

Leveraged marketing is one of the best business models for the average person who is serious about becoming financially independent. As an industry, leveraged marketing doesn't require a person to start out with lot of capital. In most cases you can begin a business for a few hundred dollars and it doesn't require a formal education or years of business experience. The majority of people who join our industry start out on a part time basis and begin learning how to work the business in their spare time; allowing the person to earn while they learn. The rule of thumb adopted by most people is when the level of income equals or surpasses the income from a person's current job, it is then time to make decision to work the full-time.
Leveraged marketing is a very simple business to operate successfully because there are few moving parts. It is not an easy business to operate, but it is a simple business to operate and here's the big difference. Owning and operating a traditional business or franchise entails securing working capital, locating an office space or building to rent, hiring employees, stocking inventory, insurance, taxes, payroll, advertising, and a lot more.  Even after doing all of this there is no guarantee of success. The fact is that the business owner is usually the first one to arrive in the morning and the last one to leave at night!
The scary fact is that the odds of succeeding in your own business are heavily stacked against you; statistics from leading experts indicate 95% of small businesses fail within the first 5 years. So why burden ones self with all the unnecessary risks of owning a traditional business when a person can choose a good leveraged marketing company who has already absorbed the majority of those risks on their behalf.
Many professionals from all walks of life are becoming more and more attracted to the benefits of leveraged marketing because many have become literal slaves to their profession. They're looking for something more than just the pursuit of money, they’re looking for the intangibles this industry offers like freedom and independence.  More importantly leveraged marketing provides something professionals treasure more than money and it's called TIME.  What good is it to earn a lot of money if you have no time to enjoy it?
Now perhaps you can get a sense why leveraged marketing companies account for nearly $100 billion dollars (about 75 billion euros) in annual sales and have in excess of 10,000,000 individuals from virtually every country in the world participating in the industry.
The benefits of becoming involved in leveraged marketing are numerous; for example tax advantages and taking control of your life but beyond that, it is an industry of sharing information. That's right, if you are willing to learn how to do our business, you can make a very good living at it. However, if you're willing to share and teach what you learned with others this could make you very wealthy. It's all about duplication. Notice it is not about saying anything about selling or convincing people. Many misunderstand the grass roots of our business model and therefore fail to embrace the qualities which can transform their life as they know it.
