DubLi Corp.: Media company to move HQ to Boca Raton

The Berlin-based media company said it is relocating senior management and other key employees from Germany, while creating several new jobs. It expects to employ 25 people at the new office, including the 10 employees from its BSP Rewards division currently located in Margate. The relocation follows the completion of a merger between MediaNet (OTCBB: MEDG) and the DubLi Cos., which runs the DubLi.com online retail auction portal. In a news release, MediaNet said it leased about 11,000 square feet in Boca Raton, which will be used as a global training center. About 30 employees will remain in Berlin for European operations. MediaNet President and CEO Michael Hansen said the East Coast of the U.S. made the most sense as a location for the merged companies. He said the Florida location provides “easy access” for business associates in the U.S. and Europe. “We are excited about growing our operations in the United States as inroads into the market have proven very successful,” Hansen said in the news release. BSP Rewards is described as an affordable “customer relationship marketing program” and “communications solution” using an Internet rewards mall platform and applications, including the BSP Rewards Mall. MediaNet shares were up 3 cents to 61 cents in morning trading. The 52-week high was $1.01 on Dec. 19. The 52-week low was 3 cents on June 5.

OUR TEAM DOMINATES AGAIN! In the DubLi Corp. newsletter emailed today (and posted on this blog), of the 10 USA reps recognized, 5 of them are ours! The 5 are SD GM Group and TCs Artie Leonard, Naja Moujabber, Tammy Kahale, and Peter Ettenborough.  It’s nice that one of the remaining 5 is our upline, Jim Pare’, who hit VP. You may clue in on the fact that Australia growth has been incredible, and that will spread to Asia very quickly.  In each market DubLi has opened, from the EU, to N. America, to AU/NZ, the growth has been exponentially faster than it was in the previous market.  Asia will be no different.  Mark it down:  this is the last quarter when the list of promotions in a DubLi newsletter is not dominated by Asians. Now for the bad news:  of all that AU recognition, none of it was ours.  Ouch.  That means we have to give some serious focus to that region or we’ll miss out on the vast majority of 2010 growth.  If you believe that I know what I’m talking about, then you’re pounding every contact you have for Asia leads … END OF DECEMBER MONTH Remember that our months end at 6pm Eastern, 3pm Pacific, which is midnight Berlin, Germany, time.  Hopefully that will change soon, but for now that’s the way it is. Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement

Item 1.01 Entry into a Definitive Agreement On December 21, 2009, the Company entered into a lease for premises at Boca Center, Boca Raton, Florida 33486. The lease commences on February 1, 2010, and terminates on January 31, 2020, with an option to renew for an additional five-year term. The leased premises are 10,476 square feet. During the initial term of the lease the rental is as follows:

The first six months of the lease rental is abated and the second six months is $25 per square foot. The lease term for the second year through the tenth years are as follows: second year, $25.75/sf; third year, $26.52/sf; fourth year, $27.32/sf; fifth year, $28.14/sf; sixth year, first three months abated; second six months, $28.98 /sf; seventh year, $29.85/sf; eighth year, $30.75/sf; ninth year, $31.67/sf, and tenth year, $32.62/sf. The furniture is included in the lease and becomes the property of the Company at the end of the lease term.

The Truth About DubLi

A question that is constantly asked of DubLi is whether this program is a scam of some sort. There are those in the media who believe that this is some sort of scam, ponzi, or pyramid scheme. This is a rather sensationalized news story that was probably brought up because of the recent occurrences in the United States regarding ponzi schemes. The people who perpetrated these schemes stole a lot of money from a lot of people and they are now being punished for this. In fact, it could be argued that these people were punished so heavily because the powers that be wanted to make an example out of them. They figured that is people were terrified of going to jail for years on end, they would be less likely to create any more ponzi schemes that would separate people from their money. The truth about Dubli is that it is not like these schemes at all. The people who run DubLi Network are legitimate businesspeople who are in this business for the right reasons. Of course, they turn some sort of profit in this business, otherwise it would not be worth doing, but they do a lot of good for other people as well. One of the reasons this idea started was that a rumor was started that DubLi would eventually be bigger than eBay. This is not simply a claim that the company was making for no reason, but is a belief that is actually held by countless people in the industry. The reason for this is that the business model that this company uses is much different from eBay’s and it is much more sustainable long term. That is not to say that Dubli will definitely be more popular than eBay someday, but there is definitely the distinct possibility of that happening. Since this company plans to expand so heavily, it would not make much sense for the company to be involved in these illegal activities, since their growth would bring them into the spotlight. Criminals generally want to stay out of the public eye because the more visible they are, the more likely they are of being caught. Dubli is very much in the public eye right now due to its expansion plans and any potential customers can trust that is the company was doing anything wrong, they would have been caught by now. The government is simply getting too good at spotting ponzi scams to let one as major as Dubli get past them at this point. In fact, the FBI and the FTC have been notified of Dubli’s business practices and they have not found anything illegal to be going on. They have simply found that this is an auction site that offers a variety of different auction platforms for people to choose from, which gives them multiple opportunities to purchase prizes that they actually want. What people are now finding is that this is not simply a trendy website that will fizzle out in a few years, but is a legitimate business that will change the way that people operate on the internet. This website is also completely safe, as they do not take your money and invest it in things that cannot possibly succeed, so users will never have to worry about falling victim to some sort of scheme along the way. The truth is that no laws have been broken by DubLi, so there is nothing to worry about when choosing this company. There are a number of very high recommendations on this website, so all worries can definitely be put at ease now. The controversy surrounding Dubli was most likely started by similar businesses that cannot complete with this company’s rapidly expanding popularity. It is an unfortunate part of the business world that people would rather tear down what someone else has built than build up a business of their own because these people simply do not have the drive to succeed. The people who run Dubli, however, do have this drive to succeed and they are able to do it in a completely legal manner, unlike many other internet-based businesses. The FBI has already looked into this matter and found that nothing is wrong with DubLi, so this case should be closed from here on out.
