Isn't It Time You Checked Into Network Marketing? 

Like many people I know, I have become totally dissolutioned with the state of the job market.  I have been in professional sales for over 35 years and consider myself to be quite proficient.  I was down-sized about one year ago.  When I spent the next 6 months looking for another position, I felt like I was begging for a job.  For those of you who are currently unemployed you know how demoralizing it can be to interview in today’s economic climate.  You almost feel like you are begging for the opportunity to line someone else’s pockets.  Let’s be honest now, the employers are looking for the “perfect” candidate, because, let’s face it, they are getting bombarded with resumes and can have the cream of the crop for 50 cents on the dollar.
I don’t know about you, but this is not what I signed up for.  Well, no more!  I, as an ever increasing number of other frustrated people, decided to take my future into my own hands.  It was time for me to take control of my financial wellbeing. 
Over the years I have heard quite a bit about “home based businesses” (aka “Network Marketing”, Multi-Level Marketing, MLM) but have never given them more than a passing glance, up to now.  I was contacted, about 3 months ago, by a friend of mine with a home-based-business pitch that hit home.  For me, it was the right pitch at the right time.  (I do not want to make this article a pitch for my MLM so I will keep it devoid of any specific MLM names or pitches.)  He knew about my situation and positioned the pitch correctly.  So, I decided to do some research into the whole network marketing industry.  During my research I discovered that there are a myriad of legitimate home based businesses out there.  I am not one to jump into anything without seeing who the competition is first.  So I proceeded to listen to a number of select pitches for different MLMs.  After doing 2-3 weeks’ worth of in-depth research I came back to my friend and joined.  This article is not about the “how-to's” of choosing an MLM so I won’t go into the details of how I chose, just that I chose.  We will leave the “how I chose for another time.”
If you are considering the same path, I strongly suggest that you do your research and find one that you can be passionate about.  Nothing sells like passion.  With passion and an in-depth knowledge of your products/services you can become wealthy in the MLM business.  Now, when I say “wealthy”, it all depends on what you want to put into it.  As one of my successful up-line associates says: “you can do this full time, you can do this part time, but you can’t do this in your spare time.” You must be committed (in a good way) to making it work.
If you have never experienced being your own boss, you don’t know what you are missing.  If you have always worked for someone else, do you really want to go back to the same old grind?  If you are currently employed, how long will that last?  Do you feel stressed that you will be the next one laid off?  Now, I am not saying quit your job and join an MLM.  What I am saying is that you owe it to yourself to explore the possibilities.  Most successful network marketing business owners transition out of the job market as their network marketing business begins to grow.
What I am saying is now might be the time to explore owning your own network marketing business.  Now I must warn you, the 80/20 rule applies here.  80% of network marketers will never even recoup their initial investment.  This is because they buy in thinking that they will make money in their sleep and their down-line will magically appear.  It’s the 20% that understands that this is hard work that will be successful. 
There are thousands of everyday people making it big in network marketing.  In what other industry can anyone, who is willing to work, own their own business without “mortgaging the farm?”
There are so many example of where network marketing can be the answer.  Think of the single parent who has to drive to a job that they hate while paying a stranger to take care of their child (children).  Think of how it would feel for that same person to stay at home with their child (children) and conducting their business from the house.  For this person this would be heaven sent.  How about the family where the husband is forced to take on two jobs just to try and make ends meet and never even sees his kids.  Wouldn’t it be nice to run that second job from his home and if he works hard enough, give up the first job? 
Think of how much time you spend commuting to and from work; how much time you are away from your family, and how frustrated you feel.
Network Marketing (sometimes called Multi Level Marketing [MLM]) is the fastest growing business in the world today.  People are finally throwing off their shackles and taking control of their lives….isn’t it about time that you throw off your shackles and finally take control of your life?
Now, don’t jump into the first opportunity that comes your way.  Do your research.  When doing your research, focus on products or services that you would be proud to introduce to your closest friends and your immediate family.  Without your family’s support, you are doomed to failure.  You need to be surrounded by supportive people.
As far as training goes, most reputable MLM’s have built in training programs so that there are no additional fees other than the buy-in. 
When it comes to compensation, there are a multitude of different compensation programs.  Make sure that you completely understand how and when you get paid.  Always talk to more than one person in each program that you are considering.  I strongly suggest that you delve deeply into at least three different MLMs and compare before you decide. 
When deciding, the hardest part is getting through the hype to the substance, but don’t ignore the hype.  What I mean is, listen very carefully to the hype, because that is what you will have to do.  So be sure that it sounds natural and something that you can do yourself.  The network marketing business is not really about the product/service (however, you must be comfortable with the product/service) it is a business of DUPLICATION!  Does the program that you are considering have a duplicatable process that fits with your personality?
If you are comfortable with the products/service and can duplicate the process, this can be fun and quite lucrative. 
Isn’t it time that you took control of your life…………………..

Credit Redemtion Instructions

We have all had experiences where our prospect has had difficulty registering on the DubLi site and redeeming their free credits.

I have created a set of instruction that can be added to the credit voucher that will eliminate this issue and provide a 100% success rate if followed.  These instructions refer to the sending of the credit vouchers through DubLi.com and not through Cinch.  The following is what the instructions look like, however, DO NOT COPY THEM.  Email me at mel@DubLiWorldGlobal.com and I will send the instructions in doc form with the appropriate coding.

A post from the Federal Reserve?  Are you kidding?  I know, this is insane that the Fed has their nose in the retail gift card business.  Big govt. encroachment continues.  But if their policy affects our business (makes it easier), then I should share it.  We have so many giftcards flying off our site at huge discounts now, that everyone should be aware of the rules below.

Release Date: November 16, 2009

For immediate release

The Federal Reserve Board on Monday announced proposed rules that would restrict the fees and expiration dates that may apply to gift cards. The rules would protect consumers from certain unexpected costs and would require that gift card terms and conditions be clearly stated.

The proposed rules would prohibit dormancy, inactivity, and service fees on gift cards unless: (1) there has been at least one year of inactivity on the certificate or card; (2) no more than one such fee is charged per month; and (3) the consumer is given clear and conspicuous disclosures about the fees. Expiration dates for funds underlying gift cards must be at least five years after the date of issuance, or five years after the date when funds were last loaded.

The Board’s proposed rules generally cover retail gift cards, which can be used to buy goods or services at a single merchant or affiliated group of merchants, and network-branded gift cards, which are redeemable at any merchant that accepts the card brand.

The proposed rules are issued under Regulation E (Electronic Fund Transfers) to implement the gift card provisions of the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009.

The Board’s notice is attached. Comments on the proposal must be submitted within 30 days after publication in the Federal Register, which is expected shortly.

Pre-Prospecting Preparation and Leverage
BEFORE YOU INVITE ...

EVERY call you make should always follow this template (with specifics about each below):
1.  Identify a prospect's need before dialing the fone!
2.  Smile & stand up while talking on the fone.
3.  Excuse the time.
4.  Ask qualifying questions.
5.  Have complete confidence.
6.  Create a big list BEFORE you begin calling people.


1.     IDENTIFY A PROSPECT'S NEED
Before you call anyone, ask yourself specifically, “Why does this person need the DubLi business?” There are only 4 possible answers, that cover every reason someone would join us:
1.  To earn more money;
2.  To have more time (go full-time with the business and work from home);
3.  To have the challenge of building a business;
4.  To help others.

If you're going to call your wealthy uncle who: 1) is retired with millions in the bank, 2) plays golf everyday when he's not traveling the world, 3) built a business that created 400 millionaires through stock options, and 4) doesn't want to do any more work, then he clearly doesn't have any of the 4 reasons above. So your script is very easy: Uncle Bob, I want to succeed in business like you did. Will you help me? I've found a vehicle ...You never know how he'll respond, but if he just gives you referrals, that's great.


If you know well the person you're prospecting, then it's easy to figure out on which of the 4 reasons to focus. If it's your brother who has always tried different things, the script is again easy: Jim, I know you've tried a bunch of money-making things before, and I think you'll love something that just fell in my lap. It's a hundred times bigger than anything I've ever seen – I think I just found 'The Google of Shopping' ... (Then continue with the normal script.)


If your prospect makes good money but has zero time for family and no end of work in sight for years to come, the potential residual income we offer may be very attractive. Fred, I know you put in ridiculous hours and probably don't have time for anything on the side, but I found a gold mine, and I have a proposal for you that you may not be able to say no to. Then continue with the normal script, but explain to your prospect after the few sentence invite that you think he/she can surface contacts and you can make the calls, using his/her recommendation/endorsement.


Remember, before you call, always have a reason in your head for why they need the business! There's power, satisfaction, and confidence in knowing that you're doing them a favor.


2.     SMILE & STAND UP WHILE TALKING ON THE FONE
When you're moving, you have more energy, and energy helps provide you with confidence and excitement. If you have trouble conveying this sitting down, then get up! Leave no doubt that you're excited and having a great time with this, and create “fear of loss” in your prospect just by the tone in your voice! You're going to miss out!


3.     EXCUSE THE TIME
The FIRST thing you do after saying hello is ask, Is this a good time? or Do you have a minute? or something that shows respect for their time. The worst thing you can do is launch into a description of the business and get interrupted two sentences into it by the prospect saying they don't have time to hear it right now, and then have them dodging your calls for the next month.


4.     ASK QUALIFYING QUESTIONS
Get leverage on your prospect by having them admit they're interested BEFORE telling them what you have. If you're: 1) unable to determine a need, 2) can't figure out if they'd be interested in doing something on the side, or 3) expect them to be negative about your new business, then ask them qualifying questions:
 
> “On a scale from 1 to 10 (with 10 being the highest), how entrepreneurial are you?If they answer with anything other than an exact number, repeat the question and demand they give you a number. If it's anything lower than a 7, then I ask them, So if I had the cure for cancer, you wouldn't want to hear about it or get a piece of the action? and then listen to their answer. If they say 8 or above, then I say, Oh, then you HAVE to hear about this: I've got “The Google of Shopping ...

> “Are you open to other business? Usually this cuts to the chase, so there's no beating around the bush. Busy, successful l people appreciate this blunt approach, and then they can decide if they want your pitch, instead of you making decisions for them.

> “Did you invest in ______ (Apple, Google, Microsoft, etc.) when they went public? I've got something I think will be as big or bigger ... Do you want to hear about it?
     
    By asking these questions, you create curiosity and essentially open the mind of your prospect. If they won't “play along” or give the correct answer(s), then you don't have to tell them anything about DubLi.


    5.     HAVE COMPLETE CONFIDENCE!
    Make it clear you will not be responsible 6 or 12 months from now for them being angry that you didn't tell them exactly what was going on and how big DubLi would grow. This is going to happen with or without you or me; this is 100 times bigger than anything I've ever seen; it doesn't matter to me if you do this or not, but I don't want you mad at me a year from now, saying that I didn't do my job in telling you how big this would become!


    In fact, you can even begin your call with this kind of intro: “I just had a new business model land in my lap, what appears to be “The Google of Shopping,” and I know how you are, but I wanted to tell you about it so you aren't angry at me 6 months from now for not telling you about it. I don't care if you invest in it or not, but conscience will be clean and it's all on you now.”



    6.     CREATE A BIG CONTACT LIST BEFORE YOU BEGIN CALLING PEOPLE
    If you have a list of 1000 names, or at least 100 or 200, you are unlikely to freak out if you go through 10 or 20 and fail to sponsor one of them. In fact, if someone is rude or just uninterested, if you know you've got hundreds of other names, your reaction will probably be completely different than if you only had 20 names on a list.

    Set your mindset BEFORE you dial the fone, then smile and dial until your income is what you want it to be!
